emerald and teal // pre wedding studio bridals // a modern elopement

SoCal Standard - San Diego Wedding Photographer - Studio Bridal Session-24.jpg

More and more of my clients are opting out of doing the traditional wedding thing and just eloping (WHICH IS SO FREAKING RAD!!) But sometimes, when people elope, they rarely hire a photographer and then immediately regret it later. There are no memories from the day that they decided on forever and that makes me so sad! I’ve been working on a little service to change that. I’ve been offering pre and post bridal sessions for couples who didn’t necessarily want the big wedding day (or maybe they did ), but still want those moments of just them to be cherished.

Krystyna + Cam were actually my guinea pigs for this kind of shoot a few months back. There were getting married in this epic field in Colorado - earthy, adventurous, intimate, but they are both also very clean, modern, and vintage classy fresh. They had already booked their photographer for Colorado but reached out to me for something a little more simple to show the duality of their relationship. I LIVE FOR THESE MOMENTS!!!!

I wanted to keep their adventurous nature entacked by adding in the green and teal backdrops to make it feel more earthy, but this studio session was a perfect combination of vintage modern meets nature. Simple, clean, and the only focus was them. Not all the lavish details, not the venue, not the cake. Just two people in love, and I’m here for it. So whether modern studio bridals or epic mountaintop romantics are your jam, let’s go get you married!
